OUCH!!

I was awoken at 3 am this morning by the worst calf cramp I've had in my entire life. It sucked so so bad! First one of the pregnancy and I'm sure not the last.  Needless to say I'm having a little trouble walking this morning. Looks like bananas are going to be a daily treat for me. I'm going to do whatever it takes to prevent them or make them less intense. Tori no likey!

This second picture is a sample of the 3D imaging that we're going to get done next time. I wanted to do it today, but the u/s tech said that we will be happier with it if we wait. She will have more defined features and a little more weight next time so she'll look more like she will when she is born. How cool is that going to be!! I'm excited!!

How bad do you wanna know? Ha ha! IT'S A GIRL!!! All the measurements were normal and she is doing great. I think we caught her during nap time because she wasn't real active like she normally is, but she is usually the most active in the afternoons anyways. She is measuring in the 60th percentile, which means she's a little bigger, but not a whole lot. She weighs approx. 1 lb. already. The only measurement the doc wasn't able to get was the heart, which is very important. They didn't see anything wrong, but because the baby wasn't moving around a lot and was in the wrong position, they scheduled me for another u/s June 19th! This is cool though because we weren't going to have another one, and now we are, so we get to see her again. Whoohoo! How excited are you? I'm stoked!!! All smiles today!! I will post pictures soon.

Getting Excited!

I can't wait until  Monday!! Our ultrasound  appointment is at 9:30 in the morning!!!! Since Danny hasn't been able to feel the baby kicking yet, I can't wait to see his face when he sees the baby on screen jumping around. This is going to be so neat. I've decided that we're going to spend the extra $$ to get the 3D/4D ultrasound. It's our first child and I think it'll be worth it.

Our little Baby Searcey is as active as can be! Being kicked is a wonderful feeling, luckily for me the baby is still small and it doesn't hurt. Baby Searcey is just letting me know he/she is there.

Danny got me a wonderful mother's day present. First one ever!! It's so beautiful. It's a Journey necklace with diamonds and blue sapphires (the birth stone for September).  I'll take a picture of it and post later.

Half Way There!

Today marks the start of our 20th week. We're half way there. The baby is definitely moving around and seems to be the most active on my drive home from work. Baby's favorite radio station is Movin 107.5! Ha Ha.

Yesterday was the first day that a stranger acknowledged my pregnancy. She asked me "Are you expecting?" When I said "Yes" she replied with "You're baby bump is so cute!" Pleasant. She didn't try to touch it or anything so overall it was a nice experience.   :)

Only 10 more days until the gender ultrasound. We're so excited!!
