New Pictures!

Here are some pictures of the baby bump. I have no news at the moment...other than I feel HUGE! LOL. I've been having horrible heart burn after everything I eat. That usually means the baby will be born with a full head of hair.

and Gaining...

Well, my grandmother passed away last week and my brothers, sister and I made the trip back to El Paso for the funeral. We actually had a really great time considering the reason we were there. We stayed at my Aunt Ginny and Uncle Mac's house, and like always, had a blast. We ate a ton of food and played games. It was nice to see everyone and hang out with my Dad a little.

I had a doctor's appointment this morning. I've gained 4 pounds (probably from the Chico's Tacos and Cappetto's). So the weight gain has begun and probably won't stop until our little bundle of joy is born. The baby is healthy and has a strong heart beat, in the 140's. I'm measuring at about 19 inches which is normal for this time. They took some more blood and normally it doesn't bother me, but the lab nurse had a hard time finding my vein. She said it was really deep and she had to switch needles so she could dig in deeper to find the vein... Can we say "Ouch". I'm definitely going to have a bruise after that one.

I mentioned to my doctor that my acne is beginning to clear up and she said if I had skin problems that I'll most likely have a girl. But she also disclaimed that it's an old wives tale. LOL... we'll see if she's right! I have my gender screening scheduled for 4 weeks from today, May 19th. I can't wait!! I'll be 21 weeks along, so unless the baby doesn't cooperate, we should definitely be able to tell the gender. Danny will get to tag along to this appointment too, so it will be nice.

I'm also thinking of getting a 3D/4D ultrasound. For those of you who don't know, instead of a flat image on the screen you see more of the shape and characteristics of the baby. They usually recommend getting that done at 26-30 weeks. So it might be too early for that, but I'm going to ask anyway.

OK, well that's it for now!

Look at my BUMP!

I took these pictures last night. I am 15 weeks and 6 days pregnant now. Tomorrow I will start my 5th month! Look at that tummy!

I've been feeling movement for a couple of weeks now, but it was finally confirmed the other night. Danny and I were laying down for bed and he had his hand across my tummy. The baby kicked a couple of times and Danny even felt it. It was exciting! Now I feel it all the time, but a couple of times it has been really strong. Like yesterday I was drinking a really cold glass of water and after I would drink I would get a kick around my belly button. It's awesome. A lot of people ask what it feels like and the best way I can describe it is it feels like an uncontrollable muscle twitch. I'm sure it will be different once the baby gets bigger. Right now it's probably only about 4 inches long.
