Photos from First Christmas

Here are the photos from India's first Christmas. We spent the day at Nana's house with both grandparents and Uncle Troy & Aunt Kristen.

Here are the boys (Shane, Jason & Danny) admiring Shane's new Natural Gas Grill.

Trixie being cute, like always.

Danny listening intently.

India and I looking at some of her new clothes!

Granny opening a present. Don't mind her injuries. They're battle wounds from trying to pet Nemo over the fence. He jumped up and scratched her. BAD DOG!

Mom opening her present (it's a Coach purse - she likey).

Coolest baby shoes ever! (she has to grow into them)

4 Months Old

Here she is at 4 months old sporting her RAC Worry-Free Beanie. It's one of the only hats she has left that fit her BIG head. She's growing so fast! We went for her 4 month check-up this morning and India has graduated to the 50-75 percentile in weight. She is 14lbs. 5.5oz. and 23 1/2 inches long. The doctor took one look at her chubby little feet and said "Wow, you're gonna have a hard time getting shoes to fit these feet." LOL. They are adorable though. We also get to start her on some rice cereal this month.

8 Hour Nights!

India's been sleeping for eight hours almost every night for the past week. There were two nights when she only did 4 and 6 hours. I hope this lasts. Sleep is so great!

On another note... I'm going to get my hair cut today on my lunch break. It's a much needed change for me. I will post pictures of it when I have a chance.

OK, Here it is....whatcha think? I love it!!

This is India's new favorite toy...

She's gonna hate me later for that one. LOL, but I think it's a cute butt!

Follow-up

Nana took India back to the doctor this morning for her follow-up appointment. Poor baby girl – she still has the ear infection and we have to start her on a new Rx. Her sinuses are really congested too so she is sneezing and coughing quite a bit. Her temp is good and she seems to be doing good other than all that. She weighs 13lbs. 11oz. now. That means she's gained almost 1lb. in two weeks. She's growing so good!!

Much Better...

India seems to be doing much better now. She is still taking her antibiotics but doesn't need the ear numbing drops or the tylenol anymore. She is eating and sleeping good. Her mood has also gotten much brighter.

Other developments:
She has started to really notice her hands. While she's eating she opens and closes her hands alot. She used to just keep them closed the entire time. She's also putting her hands on the bottle, not really holding it yet, but close. Her vision seems to have improved. She will spot someone or something from across the room and follow it with her eyes. Especially when it's her mommy, daddy or nana. I love making her smile!

For her 3 month birthday...

India got an ear infection and a sore throat. Poor thing. She also had a little bit of a fever. Her skin felt like she was on fire, but her temp was running about 99.6-99.8. She didn't eat most of the day because it hurt her throat and ear to suck on the bottle. Once I got home, I picked up her prescriptions and they kicked in late last night. She didn't like laying down, so I held her on my chest all night. She finally started to eat around mid-night and has been eating pretty good since. I've also been able to feed her a little bit of pedialite because I think she got a little dehydrated yesterday.

Needless to say I stayed home from work today to comfort and care for her. I will keep you updated.
