India's 1 Year Stats!!

We finally got India into the doctor for her 1 year check-up. Here are her stats:

Wt: 21lbs 2oz (50%)

Ht: 29" (50% - she's catching up...until now she was only in the 25%)

Head: 46cm (50%)

She isn't walking yet, but she's trying really hard. She is all over the place crawling - fast like lightning! She's also started saying more words like "kitty", "hat", "hi", and "bye-bye". I don't know if it's just too early to tell if she's going to be right or left handed, but I have a video of her playing with one of her toys (the kind that you have to put the ball in the hole and it makes noises when it goes in) - and she does it once with her right hand and then immediately afterwards she uses her left hand. She might be ambidextrous! Oh yeah, and she pretty much mimics whatever I do with my hands...If you point at her, she'll point at you - if you raise your hands and say "touch down" she will do the same, and when I ask her "how much do I love you?", she raises her arms in the air and out to the side to show how much I love her. It's so freakin' cute!!

Anywho, I've been waiting to post these pictures of her because I sent some out in the mail and didn't want to spoil the suprise... But here are the rest of the pictures from that photo shoot. My brother, Troy, took all the pics, they haven't been edited yet. Enjoy!!

Happy 1st Birthday!!!

My baby girl turned 1 on Tuesday, August 18th. The year has gone by so so fast!! She is amazing and I really have no words to tell you how special she really is and how much I love her. We celebrated her birthday with a small b-day party at Nana's house. Here are a few pictures :)

Heart Strings

India just pulled at my heart strings this morning when I dropped her off at daycare. She just didn't want to let me go. This is only the second time she's had issues with me leaving her. It just tears me apart. My sweet little angel wanted to spend the day with mommy but mommy has to go to work.

11 Months Old!!

India will be 11 months old tomorrow!!! Just this week she's started clapping and giving me kisses when I ask for them :)

India is growing so fast it's hard to keep track of everything. She learns something new every day! I love being around her, she's the brightest part of my day. I really love seeing her and Danny together. She loves him so much and wants to be near him all the time. She smiles so BIG when he's playing with her and talking to her.

She's had a tough couple of months being sick off and on. She has a little bit of a cold right now, but hopefully it will be a quick one. Despite all the sickness she is still always a joy to be around. She's such a happy soul. We love her so much!

Her two bottom teeth are poking out and I think she's working on cutting her top teeth too. She pulls up on anything she can get a good grip on and tries to take some steps. But she's not balanced enough to stand alone yet. She is trying so hard to feed herself. It's gotten to the point that when I feed her I have to give her her own spoon because she tries to steal the other one from me. It's precious. She is crawling like crazy and isn't scared of anything. She has also started to mimic noises. She already says DaDa, but she tries to talk to Nemo (the dog) and the turkey's when we go out to the shop. It's adorable. One day I'll get it on video.

Been Over 9 Months!

Well, 9months have come and gone! It's all happening so fast!! India is now pulling up in her crib and on anything else she can get a good grip on. She has been crawling for a couple of weeks - actually started the day after her 9month doctor's appointment. We've had a few issues the past couple of weeks, and that's why I haven't updated yet. India, Danny and I have all been sick. I think we've been passing around the yucky bug. India had a sinus infection and they suspected a urinary tract infection because she was running fever for at least four days in a row. They put her on antibiotics. Those messed up her stomach pretty bad and gave her a rash. Not sure if she was allergic to them or if they were just that harsh. She is off them now and recovery nicely. She's eating and drinking really good now, but went through a rough couple of weeks. Poor thing. Even through all the drama and belly aches and fever she was just the cutest and happiest baby in the world. She is such a joy to be around. The best thing about her being sick was that I had to take time off of work to care for her...and I really loved being around her so much. I just can't tell you how cool she is.

Well, she had her 9month appointment on 5-20-09. These were her stats:
Weight: 19lbs 1oz
Height: Coming Soon (I don't have the infowith me and can't remember)
She was in the 50-75% for weight and still only 25% for height. She's so freakin' cute! LOL.
